Key Personnel

Ronnie Lott

Mr. Lott’s legendary football career includes four Super Bowl titles and 10 Pro-Bowl appearances . He is one of only five 49ers to play on all of the team’s 1980s Super Bowl wins. He retired from professional football in 1994 after having played 10 seasons with the 49ers, plus additional years with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets.In 1994, he was selected as the Safety for the NFL’s 75th Anniversary Team. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in2000, and in 2002 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Mr. Lott is a co-partner and owner of a series of auto dealerships that include Tracy Toyota (1999-present), Mercedes Benz of Medford (2004-2011) and Stan Morris Chrysler in Tracy (1998-2000). From 1999 to 2009, Mr. Lott was co-founder of HRJ Capital, a private equity investment management firm. Mr. Lott sits on a number of advisory boards including: Chegg, Presido Bank, IC Hospitality Fund, and Sidescreen, Inc. Mr. Lott is also a consultant for TVU Networks & H. Barton Asset Management Group. In 1989, Mr. Lott made a commitment to give back to bis community by founding All Stars Helping Kids, which supports disadvantaged youth in the Bay Area and throughout the nation. To date, All Stars Helping Kids has raised over $20 million dollars for disadvantaged youth. He also serves on several non-profit boards including the Tipping Point Community, and Champion Charities, the latter of which he co-founded with Hanis Barton in 2004. In 2002, Mr.Lott was voted into the Golden Gate Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization .

Mr. Lott graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981 with a degree in public administration . He brings inspirational leadership, extensive business, management , and philanthropic experience to the Board.

Steven Robertson

Steven Robertson is currently serving as Vice President of Finance for Ellie Mae, Inc., (ELLI), managing the corporate planning and analysis function for a 1,100 employee company with revenues over $300M.  Prior to that, he was most recently Vice-President of Finance at Silicon Image (SIMG), which was acquired by Lattice Semiconductor (LSCC) in March 2015.  Steven managed the financial strategy, accounting and operations of this publicly traded company with 650 employees with over $250M in revenue, and served as Interim CFO from May to July 2014. Steven has over twenty-four years’ experience in executive financial management demonstrating commitment to maximizing long-term shareholder value and ensuring a balanced portfolio of growth initiatives.

In prior roles,  Steven has led a variety of teams across core financial disciplines:  corporate equity and debt financing, banking negotiations, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance, and forecasting.  In these roles, Steven has consistently delivered disciplined decision making, transparency in reporting and process optimization, while always maintaining financial statements that have complied with US GAAP, with internal controls adhering to SOX guidelines.

Steven is an active member of the non-profit community in Milpitas, San Jose and Santa Clara.  He is involved in a literacy, youth advocacy and sports organization, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Bay Area Think Together Foundation.  He has been honored with the Foundation’s “Beacon of Light” Award as its most inspirational leader in 2012, after serving as the Board President during financially challenging times.

Steven holds an accounting degree from Santa Clara University where he won an NCAA men’s soccer national championship.  He also earned his CPA in the state of California in 1995 (currently inactive).

David Kahn

David Kahn is a Co-Founder of SafetyNet Promotions. David’s 35+ years in the Hospitality and Event Management business allowed him to utilize his experience to advance SafetyNet Promotions as one of the industry leaders in creative solutions and executors of this experiential promotional company.

Throughout his career, he has worked for major hospitality brands such as Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton and Richfield Hospitality, among others. In the Experiential Marketing and Event Management side of his career, he worked in unison with major companies such as PGI, TBA Global, Kuoni and American Hole in One. During these years, he was fortunate to travel extensively and make his home in several locations including New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Washington, DC, California and Hawaii. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado.

David also spent time as an entrepreneur, building his start-up company to the point of being acquired. He remained on staff as a consultant for the new company during that transition.

In 2010, David decided to launch SafetyNet Promotions with his good friend Ronnie Lott. Combining their many years of varying experiences allowed SafetyNet to lead the way with the gifted staff SafetyNet currently employs. David is currently focused on expanding SafetyNet’s value to clients and the continuing growth of the business, organically and through partnerships and alliances. David believes that SafetyNet Promotions has the unique ability to provide innovative solutions for their clients – whether Fortune 500 companies or small businesses across the nation.

David is a graduate of the Business School at The University of New Hampshire where he played varsity football for 4 years.

Brian Karr

Brian leads the sales, marketing and all day to day business for SafetyNet Promotions.  He evaluates risks for all promotions and is always looking to develop new promotions.

With over 10 years experience in the prize and promotion business, Brian is a strong believer that every client from a Fortune 500 company to a small local business is a valuable partner and strives to provide them with an experience and product to help them fulfill their goals.

Prior to joining the prize and promotion business, Brian had an award winning career with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.  Throughout his time at the Chamber Brian worked with many businesses bringing them together as a part of the local business community.  In 2005, he was awarded the Salesperson of the Year.

Brian is a graduate of Clemson University holding a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development.  Throughout his undergraduate years at Clemson University he worked for the Clemson Football video staff filming practice and breaking down the film for the coaches review and instruction as well as producing highlight tapes for the football team.  While pursuing his Masters Degree, Brian was a Graduate Assistant for Football Administration on Tommy Bowden’s staff.   During this time Brian assisted in the recruiting office, managed the video database of recruits, assisted in coordinating team travel, assisted football camps and clinics as well as assist Pro Scouts.

Donna Fehrenbach

Donna directs the sales and marketing, as well as, the contractual and graphic design aspects of all Direct Mail contest promotions. Donna specializes in evaluating the risk and managing contract compliance for all contests.

Donna endeavors to effectively match the contest components for each client’s promotion with an optimum prize guarantee product. The result is a turn-key prize package that drives a successful and rewarding contest experience.

Donna offers 10 years of contest prize reimbursement experience. She prides herself on effectively guiding our clients through the contract process, regardless of their size and scope.

Prior to joining SafetyNet Promotions, Donna worked in the prize guarantee industry, after taking time off to raise her children. During that time, she was very involved in various community outreach organizations, serving in executive board positions. Before taking her hiatus, Donna worked as an administrator in a Washington, DC invest firm. Donna has completed studies at NOVA College and George Mason University with a concentration in finance and real estate development.

When Donna is not working, she spends time with her three daughters and five granddaughters. Donna is passionate about continuing to cultivate her artistic skill in various mediums.
